I received an e-mail today from my brother-in-law regarding this missing girl from North Dakota. Now, I'm not one to forward e-mails, and I almost always check snopes.com when I get one that raised a concern. According to the article on snopes, which was updated a month ago, this story is true. The girl is missing and has not yet been found. It's heart breaking.Obviously, every missing child is a concern and we should all do what we can to see her returned to her family. While I'm sure that hope is dwindling for them, I'm equally sure that they haven't lost all hope. I have been amazed at the power of facebook to reunite friends who have seen each other or even spoken for many years. I thought, why not try to put that power to something useful. I'm hopeful that I can figure out how to post this on Facebook, and that others will do the same.
